March Activities for 2010

*Friday and Saturday March 5th and 6th is the Chemehuevi District Klondike Derby at 4:45pm.
*Saturday March 6th is the Stake Baptism at 10am at the SC.
*Sunday March 7th at 5:00pm is a CES fireside for young adults ages 18-30,both married and single. It will be transmitted over the church satellite system. The speaker will be Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Presidency of the Seventy. For more info on broadcast times and options, see the broadcast schedule at lds.org.
*Sunday March 7th at 6:00pm are Temple Recommend Interviews at the Stake Center.
*Monday March 8th is Ward Family Home Evening at 7:00pm at Bishop Gorup's home.
*Wednesday March 10th is the Chemehuevi District Dinner. The dinner will be held at Sierra Health Services Office, 2724 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89124. For more info contact Bro. Watts at twatts@bsamail.org.
*Thursday March 11th the cupcake club will be meeting at Sister Boyle's house at 7:30pm. Please bring 6 cupcakes.
*Monday March 15th is Stake Cannery Day at 9:00am. Contact Sister Carole Teeples for more info at cateeples@aol.com.
*Thursday March 18th are Temple Recommend Interviews at the Stake Center at 6:00pm.
*Friday and Saturday March 19th & 20th is 11 year old scout camp.
*Saturday March 20th at 8:00am-1:00pm is the Blood Drive at the Warm Springs Building Cultural Hall. All donors will receive a voucher for one free adult fare aboard any midday sightseeing cruise courtesy of "Lake Mead Cruises." For an appointment or questions please email akenner@bloodsystems.org
*Saturday March 20th at 10:30am is the Single Adult service project. Please meet at the SC.
*Saturday March 20th at 6:00 pm is the Stake Relief Society Meeting for all relief society sisters. Meet in the chapel. A guest speaker who was raised in Africa and recieved a humanitarian kit that changed her life will be there. Refreshments will be served.
*Friday March 26th is the Relief Society Birthday Dinner at 7:00pm (The place is to be determined).
*Saturday March 27th at 10am at the SC is the Stake Baptism.
*Sunday March 28th will be fast sunday due to General Conference.
*Sunday March 28th at 5pm is the Stake Single Adult Committe Meeting. Meet in the High Council room.
*Tuesday March 30th is the Pinewood Derby.
*Wednesday March 31st is the Stake Court of Honor at 6:30-7:30pm. Parents and youth leaders are invited to honor our stake young men and their accomplishments. The Court of Honor will be held at the Pahrump Chapel. Please be there a few minutes early to get seated for an opening flag ceremony.
